Roman Shades Workshop

Everyone wants to add Roman Shades to their decor, but the cost of professionally made shades is often daunting!! Not so!! In this class you will learn how to properly measure your windows for a custom fit shade and create a SAMPLE Roman Shade to master the techniques needed to make custom shades for any window in your home. Your family and friends will certainly be impressed!

We will be creating a sample to learn the techniques for you to make Roman Shades for any window in your home! Instructions will be given for how to properly measure your window, depending on how you plan to mount the shade.


Supplies:
- 1 and 1/4 yds. Fabric at least 45? wide
- 1 and 1/4 yds RocLon 54" drapery lining or muslin for sample
- Clear Foot/Open Toe Foot for your sewing machine
- Fray Block
- Hardware Kit - purchase from Instructor at class
- Basic sewing supplies
- Thread
- Ruler
- Scissors
- Pins
- Marking pen or pencil
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Tweezers
- Sewing Machine with new 90/14 sewing needle
