Have you ever seen a beautiful quilt? Have you wanted to learn to make one? Now is a great time to learn to quilt! Join the Beginning Quilting class to learn how to measure, cut, and sew fabric pieces together to create your very own beautiful quilt. This class will be the beginning of your new creative skill - Quilting!



Materials List
Sewing Machine in good working order – this means you know how to operate the machine to include threading, winding a bobbin and that the machine sews without difficulty

Neutral thread (white, light gray, cream)

Bobbin wound in neutral thread – wind at least 2 bobbins

¼” foot or a means of sewing ¼” seam

Pen/Pencil for note taking

3-ring 1” binder

18” x 24” Cutting Mat

6” x 24” Ruler with clear markings

Rotary Cutter – 45mm

Quilting Pins

Pin cushion or pin container

Scissors - small

Seam Ripper

Post-it Notes (small)



Be sure to bring your lunch and beverage to class.
