Midi Bag

Here is the little sister to the wildly popular Mondo Bag! Same easy construction, but in an ever-so-practical size! Cute as can be!

Bag bottom is about 8" square x 12" high.

Pattern includes interfacing for bag and will be held for students All Brands. (15% off all supplies needed for class)!

Supply List:
Fabric: good quality cotton fabric recommended, quilt weight, NO heavyweight fabrics
- see pattern for fabric yardage options
- one option is to use 2 1/2" strips
- outer bag: 8 strips for 2 1/2" squares ( 108 total squares needed )
- handles: 2 strips 2 1/2" x wof
- bag and handle lining: 3 /4 yard
- single side fusible fleece 3 / 4 yard
- for quick perfect strips/squares, use your Go cutter and 2 1/2" square and/or 2 1/2" strip die
- OPTION: use interfacing Pellon SF101 on the handles and lining fabric in addition to the fleece
- Personal Pressing Station - Iron and pressing mat are Highly Recommended ( IF you have them )
- Applique pressing sheet
- Fasturn #6 or other turning device for handles
- Usual sewing supplies including your sewing machine in good working order, bobbins, good quality thread for construction and topstitching, small sharp scissors, rotary cutter with sharp blade, seam ripper, pins, wonder clips, fabric marker, ruler, etc
- It is always a good idea to bring extra fabric, fleece, interfacing, etc to class, just in case .....

PRIOR TO CLASS CUT THE FOLLOWING:
Outer Bag: cut 108 2 1/2" squares
Handles: cut 2 2 1/2" x WOF strips
Handle Lining: cut 2 2 1/2" x WOF strips
Bag Lining Fabric and Fleece to be cut in class
Fleece for Handles: cut 2 2 1/2" x same as handle fabric above
