Clear Blue Tiles Workshop

Experience for yourself how easy it is to quilt a project on your embroidery machine using Clear Blue Tiles by Kimberbell.

We all have unfinished projects waiting to be quilted so we can finish them. Clear Blue Tiles makes it easy with there unique marking systems. You can use All Over Quilting or Block by Block.

We will make a reversible Kitchen Drying Mat in class using a top piece of fabric 14 X 20, 2 pieces of batting 16 X 22 and backing 20 X 26. Our classroom time will not let us finish in class; you will need to finish the binding on your own.

If you have your own set of Clear Blue Tiles, please bring them. If not we will have a sample set for you to share (Up to an 8 x 12) in class. If you subscribe to Perfectly Pieced Me Time Designs, the July 2022 box had a 6 x 10 and 4 x 6 clear blue tiles in the box.
The Family Tree Bella Box from Winter 2022 had the 2 x 2 block.

What you need for Class:
- Embroidery Machine with hoops. (Any size hoop from 4X4 to 9X12)
- The plastic grid that fits in your hoop. (This came with your machine, if you can’t find it, it will be ok)
- Sewing/Quilting tools
- Basting spray, powder or curved pins
- Something to mark your project: water soluble pen, Chalk
- Pre-Cut material and batting
- Coordinating threads and bobbin. We love the designs in variegated threads.
- Kimberbell tape
