Pineapple Placemat
Supplies needed to make 4 placemats
- Fabric #1 (center, corners, & backing) – 2 yards
Print fabric is recommended. This is not a project for loose weave fabric.
- Fabric #2 (sides, top & bottom edges) – ½ yard
- Batting – 1 yard (or 4 pieces) – 15” x 20”
Other supplies required for class:
- Sewing machine in good working order, you know how to use it, and one you can easily thread and wind a
bobbin.
- Coordinating thread for top stitching.
- Coordinating thread in bobbin to match the backing when top stitching.
- Rotary cutter
- 18 x 24” cutting mat
- 1” x 6” ruler (if you have one)
- 3.5” x 12.5” ruler (if you have one)
- Quilter’s pins
- Small scissors
- Tool used to turn project right side out with corners.
- ½” Stitch Witchery fusible mesh.
The pattern is free and will be distributed to you during class.
Prior to class you will receive an email with cutting instructions.
