Christmas Tree Wall Hanging
The 2-day class is due to the time-consuming nature of the pattern’s assembly. The classes are back-to-back so you leave everything in place for completion the following day.
Please bring your lunch for a break in the class.
Required Fabrics:
¾ yard of Christmas themed fabric at least 42” of usable width
¼ yard of foundation fabric for the back. Neutral scrap fabric is good for this.
½ yard of fusible interfacing
4” x 12” piece of brown fabric for the trunk
6” x 6” piece of fabric for the star. Gold or silver or other fabric of your choice.
6” x 6” piece of double-sided fusible foam.
Other Required Materials:
Pattern
Sewing machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it
80/12 sewing machine needle
Thread – for this project neutral thread is fine
Coordinating thread for the star – for top stitching
2 wound bobbins
Rotary Cutter
18” x 24” cutting mat
Small scissors
Ruler with 60 degrees clearly marked
Quilter’s pins
Erasable pen or other tool for marking
