Go-Go Compact Bag

The pattern is easy to follow, and you should have knowledge of binding and other handbag construction techniques to be able to complete the project. It’s a 2-day class, and we’ll spend most of the time sewing, so you will need to cut out the pattern before the class. I’ll send detailed instructions to prepare a week or so before the class to everyone who signs up.

You will need to purchase the pattern, and the accessories (strapping, hardware, magnets, mesh for coinpurse) at All Brands – remember you get a 15% discount when you sign up for the class.

• Go-Go Compact Pattern
• Go-Go Compact accessories 
• ¼ yd main fabric.
• ¼ yd lining
• 1/4 yd contrast 1 (for strap and binding)
• 1/8 yd contrast 2 (for lining of bag interior)
• ¼ yd Contrast 3 (wallet & Credit Card area)
• 3.5” X 7.5” mesh for coin purse
• ½ yd fusible interfacing
• 1/8 yd fusible fleece
• 6.5” X 21” fusible fleece

Additional Materials:

• Sewing machine in good working order and you know how to use it.
• ¼” sewing foot
• Zipper foot
• Threads to match all fabrics in your project
• 1 bobbin each wound of main fabric and contrast 1 matching colors

• Erasable pen (so that you can see markings on your fabric)
