Patchwork Sunflower Table Runner

Join Sharon in the classroom for this applique class!

Please bring a lunch for a break in the class. 

Supplies Needed:
sewing machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it 
Scraps or strips of 16 yellows, totaling at least 5/8 yard
Scraps of greens for leaves
Fat Quarter brown plaid for sunflower center
3/8 yard mottled teal for binding and sashing
¾ yard aqua fabric for backgrounds
18 X 58” piece for backing
Heat and Bond Lite or another fusible applique product for fusible applique
18 X 58” batting
Thread to blend with sunflower yellow, brown center and green leaves. Thread for sewing teal and aqua
material together.

If you want to quilt the teal blocks prior to adding the sunflower, iron a piece of Ultra Fusible batting to
the back of the block and quilt with your favorite design. Prior to coming to class. You can also do this to
the sashing between the blocks. You can also quilt the table runner after it is assembled.

Follow the Cut the Fabric directions and cut out your fabric prior to class.
