Exploring Rope Bowls!

This is a fast, fun and finished project (or 3)!


The kit will make 3 bowls, 4-5 inches wide and 1inch tall. You will make a coiled bottom bowl and a material bottom bowl with wraps.
There is enough in the kit to create a third bowl of your choosing.

We will begin by discussing:
- Different types of rope
- Needles
- Thread
- Materials you can use in and on the Bowl
- Finishing your Bowl


Supply List:
- Sewing Machine (in good working order, and knowledge on how to use it, that has an ability to Zig-Zag preferably up to 7)
- Thread 50 WT (available at All Brands Sewing Center with class discount
15% off).
o White
o variegated
o Color of your choice
o Matching bobbins
- The usual sewing supplies (pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc.)
- Sewing foot:
o “N” Foot or ZIG-ZAG Foot
o If you don’t have a “N” foot you can use an open toe foot

Class will be from 10am until 2pm. Please bring your lunch or a snack.
