BEFORE CLASS - IMPORTANT!!
1. Pick up my modified and detailed color handout at All Brands - for cutting
guidelines. Includes corner template for front notched pocket

2. Cut fabric/foam/interfacing:
a. As per MY HANDOUT guidelines for you desired size and handles
b. Color coded labels included!
c. It has ALL 3 sizes
d. Watch out or directional fabric and for prints that will look best centered!

3. Use a NEW 90/14 Microtex Needle

4. Make 2 Quilt sandwich’s (using your walking foot helps):
a. Fuse/pin your foam quilt sandwiches
b. One for Front (panel behind the notched pocket)
c. One for Back of bag – these will be cut down to finish and match each other and lining.

While technically these panels don’t have to be quilted, it gives the bag much better form and stability.
This can be as simple as 1” vertical lines, diamond grid, squares etc!
Hey, it looks cool too!
