Supplies/Material Needed:
Sewing machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it
usual sewing supplies (snips, pins, wonder clips, marking pens, etc)

-2 fabrics
Exterior – 1/2 yard
Interior – 1/2 yard
SF 101 fusible interfacing ~ 20” square, for interior pieces
Medium fusible woven interfacing ~20” square, for exterior pieces

-Thread, this is much easier if one thread matches all fabrics

-Microtex 90/14 needle, if available chrome needles do work better!
-#5 Bag Zipper (x1) – 14” inches long –
NOT an apparel zipper (the webbing is too narrow)

-Bag Hardware:
1” Slider (x1)
1” Rectangle Rings (x2)
Available at All Brands!

-Nylon or cotton webbing ~60” for X-body bag (or optional-leather)

Optional:
mesh, for exterior back pocket, this works really nicely
leather (and rivets) for bag handle

Before Class for the PURSE:
Lightly press fabric, do not wash fabric
Cut out all template pieces
Fuse and Quilt (if desired) the outer pieces

I will bring a SUPER easy welt pocket – way simpler that the zipper pocket on the pattern
