Pick Your Own Coffin!

In this one day class, you get to PICK which bag you make! Either the Coffin Purse, OR the Coffin Tote. Sew fun!

The pattern for the TOTE is provided by the teacher!

Supplies/Materials needed for PURSE or TOTE bags:

Sewing machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it

Usual sewing supplies (snips, pins, wonder clips, marking pens, etc)

2 fabrics:

Exterior – 1/2yd

Lining – 1/2yd

Nylon or cotton webbing ~60” for purse and however long you want for the tote

Thread to match all fabrics

Microtex 90/14 needle – if available, chrome needles do work better!

SF101 fusible interfacing ~ 20” square for interior pieces and 20” square for exterior pieces

One #5 bag zipper - 14” long

Bag hardware: one 1” slider, two 1” rectangle rings

Optional:
mesh, for exterior back pocket, this works really nicely

Extras that are nice for the purse (or tote!)

Decorations:
- Zipper Charms
- You can theme it for fall, witches, ghosts, goth, steampunk, cottage core etc.
I will bring a SUPER easy welt pocket – way simpler that the zipper pocket on the pattern

Before Class for the PURSE and TOTE:
Lightly press fabric, do not wash fabric
Cut out all template pieces
Fuse and Quilt (if desired) the outer pieces
