Broad Strokes Quilt DIVA DAY!

You should be able to get pretty far into your project on the Diva Day. Especially when you get served a nice lunch! Although you can get this size quilt out of just three yards of material I recommend more at least of fabric #2 so you can avoid that funky 1 1/4” binding they use. You’ll also want more fabric if you want to make it a bigger size but it’s not bad as is at 45” x 59”.
Supply list:
The pattern Broad Strokes is used for this class from the book Quilts on the Double.
Go ahead and get the book because the next Diva Day we will use it again. It's available at All Brands w 15% off class discount.
1 yard of fabrics #1 and #3.
1/1/4 yard of fabric #2. More yards if you are worried about miss cuts or want to make your quilt bigger.
Press your fabrics and turn them in 2 weeks prior to class (by November 4th) clearly labeling which is your fabric #1, fabric #2 and fabric #3. Also, specify if you do not want your binding cut to 2 1/2”.
Wind a couple bobbins of your piecing thread so they are ready for class. Gather your sewing machine (in good working order and knowledge on how to use it) and basic sewing supplies (including thread) and you are all set to have a fun day here at All Brands.
You may want your own small pressing station at your table - bring a small iron & pressing mat, if you have them.
