If you try matchstick quilting (Leslie will tell/show you how to do it), you will not need to sew your applique pieces down AT ALL! You'll be using double sided fusible paper such as TransWeb. Make sure you back all your applique shapes before cutting!

Supply list:
fabrics - see pattern for details
Small or travel sewing machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it
thread and bobbins
Marking pen
pins
usual sewing notions (scissors, seam ripper, snips, etc)

IF you do NOT have a small sewing machine, you may borrow a classroom machine for this class. BUT, you must still bring your sewing supplies, thread, and a class 15 bobbin for the machine. If you need to borrow a machine, you must let us know ahead of time. There is a limited number of machines available!
