Sew Cute Embroidery Tote!
Please bring your lunch for a break in the class! This is a two session class.
This tote bag is sew cute! There are 8 different embroidery motifs that are easy and fun to make. We will make each 2 times, and then construct the bag. This is a Sweet Pea pattern. Purchase the pattern for class HERE!
Motifs can be made 4X4, 5X5, or 6X6. I suggest that you use scraps of fabric that you already have for the embroidery blocks. Please cut out some of your embroidery fabric prior to class so that we can start sewing.
Some of the embroidery blocks will have to be made at home between classes as homework.
Supply list:
Embroidery machine in good working order and knowledge on how to use it
usual sewing notions (scissors, snips, seam ripper, etc)
Lots of scrap fabrics for the embroidery blocks - the fabric requirements are in the pattern.
You will need some batting for the embroidery - and some for the construction of the bag.
SF101 to back the embroidery fabrics
Lining fabric
Tote bottom fabric
~1 1/2 to 2 yards of webbing (depends on how long you like your handles)
Large coordinating button
Embroidery thread - As many colors as you like to coordinate with your scraps of fabrics
